Campaign Update from Greg Hose, Candidate for State Representative 81st District

I’m Greg Hose, candidate for state representative in the 81st District, which covers portions of Downers Grove, Westmont, Darien, Woodridge, Lisle, Naperville, and Bolingbrook.  I am running for state representative because we need a representative who is focused on what is good for the middle class and working people.  Gov. Rauner and my opponent, Ron Sandack, have been playing politics with the budget and the livelihood of families in our district.  Our most pressing need as a state is a sustainable budget.  The state needs to live within its means and do so while keeping its promises, and without making its challenges someone else’s burdens.  We cannot tolerate dangerous cuts to critical
programs and services like medical care for the elderly, disabled and struggling families, services for victims of child abuse, and the nursing home care of thousands of frail elderly residents.  My opponent has supported cuts like these; I will not stand for them.

Solving our problems demands effective leadership.  I am ready to work with anyone who is serious about protecting taxpayers, responsibly managing our money, and giving our children every opportunity to succeed.  The only people I’ll be there to serve are the people of our region.
