It was a cold night in January when 70 energized Democrats pushed their way into the Feinkind home to share their concerns about the direction of the country and how best to Push Back against an Administration that is out of step with American values. We shared stories from the Women’s March, discussed the incredible impact that our office in Downers Grove has on the outlook for local Democrats, and offered ideas for #resist.
Candidates for Downers Grove Township offices were on hand to meet with people. Chris Hotchkin explained the importance of the race, which is often overlooked because people just do not understand what township government does.
Community building has always been an important part of what we do in Downers Grove Township and this event was the first of many gatherings that we hope to have during the coming year.
