We’re doing an analysis of the April 4, 2017 election results in Downers Grove Township. Initially we looked at how our candidates did, and also how the Hinsdale High School Bond Proposition fared. While none of our candidates for Township offices won, the data identifies the Precincts where the Democratic candidates did better than the Republican opponents. Also, we were able to determine the Precincts where the Hinsdale HS (District 86) bond proposition failed (most of them) and the ones that tried to pass the Bond Referendum.
There are several precincts where our candidates did very well and those Precinct Committee people should be applauded for “getting out the vote.” The results from this preliminary analysis are shown in the attached table.
